Our painting holidays originated as an idea that Dolores had while living and studying in London. It was always her intention to relocate back to her native Spain one day. This became closer to realize after completing her university art studies and obtaining her degree.

After, what seemed to be forever searching, in fact it was almost five years, we found ‘Las Orquideas’ here in Beniganim, Valencia, Spain which managed to tick most of the boxes on our perfect home/location list. It is this philosophy of pushing a thought on until it becomes reality that is evident in Dolores’s paintings and the way she manages to get to the strengths and talents of all her students.

Therefore you will not only share the beautiful, peaceful and inspiring scenery but you will not fail to be caught up in Dolores’s exuberance and passion for art, whether talking about it over a glass of wine or producing it in her large, light purpose built, air conditioned studio.

Whether it’s a painting holiday or short art break, tutored or untutored, in water colours, oils or acrylics, the idea is the same, that is:- not to be a slave to time, relax in the company of like minded people, make new friends, enjoy exceptionally good food and stay in quality, comfortable accommodation.
